I can't believe I haven't posted this sooner, but our sweet baby boy just turned 1 on August 29th!!
It's hard for me to believe that my baby is now not a bebe.....he's walking, eating every type of grown up food imaginable, listening to me when I say no (well kinda), likes to help play "clean up pick up", gives sweet, slobbery kisses, says/waves bye-bye and hi, points to things, wrestles with his big brother, etc. my list could go on for a while. lol Neeless to say Maddox is growing like a weed and we are having lots of fun with him and his curiousity of the world!
At his 1 year visit he weighed in at 26lbs and 3 oz....still in the 95%. His heighth is only in the 70th percentile....now I can't remember how tall he is...oops! The doctor said Maddox is looking great and seems right on track. He also says that Maddox will be UT's linebacker one day. lol I'm not sure about that....maybe Arkansas! ;)
We had his birthday party on August 29th at my parents neighborhood Clubhouse/Pool...it was PERFECT!! Maddox will be having a pool party for every birthday from now on....I hope he likes swimming! HAHA! We had our family and closest friends over for hot dogs, chips, cake and fun. Maddox loved playing and swimming with everyone...the only thing he wasn't too sure of and actually cried was at "cake time". I don't think that Aidan helped by shoving cake in his mouth when he didn't want it. :) But hey, that is what big bro's are for!
Thanks to everyone who came out and celebrated Maddy's big day! He had so much fun with everyone!
