The Boys Are Back to School!

Well, today was the first day of school for both Allan and Aidan! Allan started his second year of Law School.....woo-hoo! And Aidan started a new school today. He goes Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8-12:30. He really enjoyed his first day...he got to paint, color, play outside on the playground, meet new friends, music/dance time, eat lunch with his new buddies.....he came home and took a 3 hour nap, needless to say he loved his first day!

Fun at the Beach part II

Aidan and I just got back from South Padre Island with Mimi and Uncle Anthony. We met Aunt Margaret and some of our cousins....Jenna, Christina, Rene, Ross and Ashley (Jenna's friend from college). We all had a blast! We went parasailing, took surf lessons, went to the Sea Turtle Rescue Center, played on the beach, ate some great seafood, did a little shopping, rented surf boards one day to practice our skills at surfing, hung out at the hotel pool, and enjoyed Happy Hour! Surfing was by far my favorite. I had always wanted to try it and didn't think I could stand up...but I proved myself wrong....I really enjoyed surfing. I'm already looking forward to our next visit to the beach so I can do some more of it. Thanks Mom for a great vacation! Love you! Here are some of our pics....enjoy.

SAN FRANCISCO!!

Allan heads to San Francisco this Saturday. He has two interviews with two different firms out in California...they are jobs for next summer! We are really excited for him and hope he does well and say our prayers that he gets an offer. We'll keep you posted.

Aidan and I headed to the beach on Tuesday with Mimi and Uncle Anthony. We are going to be away for 5 days...looking forward to it!!

When we all get back we will head to Austin to throw Katie a baby shower, celebrate Allyson's birthday, Allan will play golf with some buddies, do his fantasy football draft and spend some time with the family before school starts. Allan takes the patent bar exam again on August 22nd, and then both my boys start school on the 25th....WOW, this summer has flown by!!

Mamma Mia!

Mamma Mia was such a cute movie! My friend Katie came to visit and we went to see it together. (knowing our husbands wouldn't go see it with us) The movie had us laughing, singing, and a couple of times we wanted to stand up and dance!

I highly recommend this movie....so go grab you friends, mom, sister, grandma, or maybe even your husband if he's into musicals. This movie won't let ya down.

I want to buy the soundtrack, it's going to be a good one! I can't stop singing all the songs. HA! Thanks Katie for going to see this movie with me, I had fun!

Welcome to the "blog life" Katie!

One of my dearest friend's, Katie, has joined the blog life!! I'm so excited she did. She and her husband, Derek, live in Austin, TX and are two of our closest friends....we miss them lots since our move to San Antonio.

:( Thank goodness for phones!! I think Katie and I talk 3 times a day. lol

But they have some exciting news....they are expecting a baby girl in October of this year!! YAY! Her name is Addison Kate. Now that they have a blog, I can keep up with Addie as she grows....as long as "mommy" keeps the blog updated!! LOL Just kidding Katie...you know if you start to slack I'll get onto you or I'll just update it for ya.

WE MADE IT!! Woo-Hoo Aidan!

Well, we made it through "Nudie Booty"!!! We had our first outing today to the gym and no accidents....until we got home! :) We will continue to work hard on the potty training and me being patient with accidents. :)

Way to go Aidan, you are growing up to be a fine young boy! We love you!
