After looking at my friend's blog today, I asked myself..."why haven't you started a family blog?" I really should since we moved away from our friends and family last August. So, I decided to start today. :) I know, a little random and months later after our move, but here I go.
So last semester is already a blur. We moved to San Antonio, TX August 5th, 2007. We bought a house and live only 5 miles from Allan's school, St. Mary's University. He is attending Law School, which is a 3 year program. When moving to San Antonio, we decided that it would be a great idea for me to stay at home with Aidan (our now 26 month old son). Last semester we did a lot of traveling....Aidan and I took a trip to Arkansas in October, we got to hang out with all my girlfriends and their kids, we went to a wedding shower for my sister in Mtn. Home, and I also attended my 10 year High School Reunion. Allan and I also went to El Paso, TX in November for my cousin, Andy, and my good friend, Allyson's wedding. Allan and I were both in the wedding and we had a fabulous time with friends and family. And of course I had many of trips back to Austin for birthday's, shower's, wedding planning (for my sister's wedding), and doctor appointments.
We had a fun filled Christmas break....Allan was out of school for 3 weeks, we went back to Austin and stayed with both our families, and we celebrated Aidan's 2nd Birthday party. It was nice to be around our family and our Austin friends. We came back to San Antonio for the New Year, we had a nice relaxing New Year with some friends....dinner, champagne, and games.
January, Allan started his 2nd semester of law school, he turned 28, I got sick and busted my ear drum...again, I finally healed after lots of medication and a couple of weeks in bed, we had my sister's Bachelorette Party, I turned 29, Aidan started a Mother's Day Out program, had some visitors, and I think that wraps up the month. :)
February, Melissa and Chase got MARRIED!! That pretty much was the highlight of our February. Aidan was the ring bearer, Allan was an usher, and I was the Matron of Honor. The wedding weekend was a blast. So many friends and family flew in from all over! It was so good to see everyone. Nothing like a Ferro wedding....good food, great beverages, and fabulous dancing. I think we all lost some lbs that night.
So I think that kind of caught everyone up on the Braxdale's since August. Now my blog is up to date. :)
