Picnic with Friends in Austin

Sunday, I drove to Austin to pick Aidan up from Nana and Papa's house.....he spent the weekend with them so Allan and I could have some alone time and relax!! Then we went to meet our friends at the park for a fun little picnic!

It was nice to see everyone and let Aidan and Finn play together....pretty soon Addison will be able to run around with those boys. The weather was gorgeous and our food was delish!

HAPPY EASTER!!

So I'm a day late.....Oops! Happy Easter! We really enjoyed our Easter weekend. Nana and Papa came to visit on Good Friday. Janie and I did some shopping and had a nice lunch. Billy took Aidan to the park and to Chick Filet...Aidan's favorite place! And Allan got to study at the library. :) Then we went to Chuck E. Cheese, Aidan's other favorite place to go for some dinner before they had to go back to Austin.

Saturday part of the Ferro clan came to town.....we had a fun get together and Jim and Barb's house.....the weather was pretty chilly so we didn't get to have our pool party, but some of the guys did enjoy the hot tub!

Sunday, the Easter bunny had made a stop at our house....Aidan got to hunt for eggs and got to enjoy his Easter Basket with some goodies!! Allan made us a nice breakfast....cousin Andy and Allyson had stayed the night with us. Then we all headed to Jim and Barb's church and we got to listen to Jim sing with his choir and listen to a lovely service. After church we went to Jim and Barb's and then Mimi, Poppy, Uncle Chris, Aunt Susan and Cuz Darcy met us.

The weather was beautiful and we all got to lounge around the pool and just had a nice relaxing day getting to catch up with all the fam!! It was so nice to see Aunt Linda and Uncle Rich....they came in from Arkansas and Uncle Chris and Susan came in from Vegas!

We are so blessed to have such wonderful family in our lives!

MIMI'S VISIT TO SAN ANTONIO!!

During Mimi's Spring Break in March she came to visit us! We had SO much fun! She got to attend Aidan's Rodeo at his school....our March project was to build and create our own "Stick Horse"....it was pretty complicated but Aidan loved it and named his horse, Heaven. We also got to go to Fredericksburg one day, we took Mimi on the train ride at Brackenridge Park, took her to the Japenese Tea Gardens, we discovered a new Nursery that a friend told me about and Mimi bought Aidan some "Butterfly Plants" that we planted in our landscape so hopefully in late April early May the flowers will attract all the butterflies! Mimi and I also got to play tennis one morning, we made 2 huge batches of Muffin mix, we attended a Spurs game, and did a little shopping.

We tried to do more things but just ran out of time!

Thanks Mimi for coming and visiting and helping us with things around the house! We miss you and love you so much! Come back again and play soon!
