BROTHERS FOR LIFE

Wow, it's been a couple of weeks since I've posted anything. November has been a busy month so far...and it's almost over!! CRAZY!

Here is a picture of Maddox and Aidan that I took the other morning in bed. Aidan loves to cuddle up to Maddox and Maddox just loves to watch his big brother. Aidan is such a sweet big brother to M. Now if Aidan could just be that sweet to me all the time. HA!

We are getting ready to have some visitors tomorrow....my friend Katie Elkins and her son, Bennett, fly in tomorrow to stay with us for a few days. We are soooo excited! We have lots of things planned out that we will be doing. Will post some pix after their visit.

Oh, I think I forgot to post after Maddox's 2 month visit: he weighed 14.5 lbs, and was 25 1/2 inches long. He was in the 80th percentile. Big Bubba! I know he's grown since then and that was 3 weeks ago. Maddox is doing well, he's just growing like a weed and starting to interact with people and toys...he's just a doll and we are having so much fun with him.

TRICK-OR-TREAT

Halloween was loads of fun this year for Aidan! He was Spiderman and LOVED his costume! He would were that thing everyday if I'd let him. :) Maddox on the other hand was supposed to be a "Pea in the Pod" but his costume didn't fit....we first tried the 0-3 month and he was too big for his, so we took it back and got him the 3-6 month and he was STILL too big....so I returned it and REFUSED to buy the 9 month costume....they really shouldn't even make a 9 month costume for a "Pea in the Pod". LOL So we borrowed Addison's Lobster costume from last year and he barely could fit in it....needless to say, Maddox spent a total of 15 minutes as a lobster.

Allan's parents and my parents came to visit last weekend...we really enjoyed spending time with them and we know they loved spending time with the boys. We all went to Aidan's soccer game on Saturday afternoon which they enjoyed seeing.

We went to Jim and Barb's house for Halloween Night and Aidan did some major trick-or-treating! Their neighborhood is by far the best Trick-or-Treat place to be!! Aidan had a blast and saw so many different costumes and house decorations. He really was intune with the skeletons and goblins and spiders and spooky things in peoples yards...he had to check EVERYTHING out! hahaha

We had some pumpkins going on at The Braxdale household this year. We had our Iron Man Pumpkin, a carved Jack-o-Lantern, and some little painted pumpkins. Aidan LOVES pumpkins and pumpkin patches, so this year we went a little over board, but Aidan had fun!!

Aidan's October School Home Project

So, October's school home project was to either "decorate a pumpkin" (not carve) or make a scare crow for the school's pumpkin patch. Well, I just wanted Aidan to paint one and then Allan and Aidan came up with an idea to make an "Iron Man" pumpkin!! I was like then you two are on your own.

Our neighbor, Chris, runs an auto body company and it involves painting cars.....so Allan immediatly went to him about his idea and they came up with what is below! :)

Chris and Allan perfected the pumpkin and I don't think Aidan did too much work on it. LOL Men, they still have the little boy in them. This should have been called "The Dad's home project".
